Thank you for your interest in applying for a stipend from Autism Society Acadiana!
We’re a nonprofit organization (501(c)3) dedicated to connecting and supporting everyone in the Autism community.

How It Works:

  • A Stipend Committee made up of board members reviews all applications based on our guidelines.

  • Applications are accepted year-round but only reviewed in April. You’ll be notified by email the month after.

Who Can Apply:

  • Must be a current member of Autism Society Acadiana.

  • Must show proof of ASD diagnosis.

  • Must be an active member, meaning you or your parent/guardian have attended at least 6 events (support groups, fundraisers, workshops, etc.) in the past year. Be sure to sign in at each event.

  • Applicants under 18 must have a parent or guardian apply for them.

  • You may submit other forms of participation for review.

What We Fund:

  • Social skills groups

  • Non-traditional therapies

  • Camps and leisure activities

  • Family education and conferences

  • Communication or safety devices

  • Assistive technology

  • College, trade school, or continued education for Autistic individuals

Additional Info:

  • Maximum request is $250. You may not receive the full amount.

  • Funds are paid directly to the provider (not to individuals).

  • We can only fund one provider per application.

  • If applying for a camp or program, secure your spot with a down payment—don’t wait for stipend approval.
